IT'S ABOUT TIME I DID A BLOG...

but in fairness to me, I have been a bit busy since 'FLASHING LIGHTS' was launched on the unsuspecting world back in November of last year (6 months ago).
I try to keep all my social media accounts ticking over with regular updates, insights and extracts (with a bit of general tat thrown in).
What I call my homebase account is on Facebook www.facebook.com/jimwyllie98 ably supported by Twitter @jimwyllie5 @tavirajim and @algarvejim.
plus my Bluesky account wylliejim.bsky.social which is very popular with the good guys from the other side of the pond (the vehemently anti Trump BLUE Americans) .. and I have found these Bluesky posts to be a very interesting take on what is really happening in the States.
I have been working hard on both the sequel to FLASHING LIGHTS as well as completing 2 Short stories (a new project) which are directly influenced by events featured in both books - which are initially targeting the American magazine and online markets.
I will be looking to do similar with the UK and Europe markets later this year.
By the way, the latest working title for the sequel (and I believe that I will eventually go with this name) is a very short, very apt and eye catching "STRAY" which, by a not so strange coincidence is also the title of the second of the 2 short stories.
I will try to keep you informed as things progress in my little world — but for now it's back to the Flamingos and Terrapins of Tavira on Portugal’s beautiful Algarve coast...
